Litostroj Steel Ltd.. is a Slovenian company.

Company History

Titovi Zavodi Litostroj was founded in 1947 in Ljubljana in the former Yugoslavia for steel production. Between 1969 and 1972 caused automobiles. In 1991 it was renamed the Litostroj Tovarna Ulitkov doo, doo 1999 Litostroj Ulitki and 2007 in Litostroj Steel Ltd.. Since 2000, the company is also active in the electricity market.

Rolling stock

The Company entered into an agreement with Renault for the assembly of passenger cars. In November 1969, the production of the Renault 4 The offer began initially on the models as Renault 4 cars and vans, 6, 8, 10 and 16, 1970 added the offer of 12 as a sedan and station wagon. In September 1972, production ended. A total of 20 449 units were built. Renault agreed then with Industrija Motornih Vozil from Novo mesto the continuation of the license production.
