Little by Little (band)

Little by little is a two -man Japanese pop band, whose musical style can be classified as J- pop. The active since 2003 group at Sony Music Entertainment Japan under contract, consisting of singer and composer hideco Tetsuhiko and is among other things for its biasing and closing credits songs of Japanese anime Naruto, Superior Defender Gundam Force, Yakitate! Japan and Naruto Shippuden known.

History

After the duo hideco and Tetsuhiko already unsuccessfully tried to gain a foothold under the name Wev, the group renamed and chose to rename the title of a song of her favorite band Oasis.

Little by little, published in December 2003 with the third opening credits song for the series Naruto a first successful maxi - single titled Kanashimi where yasashisa on ni (悲しみ を やさし さ に), which reached number 4 in the Japanese singles chart and also later in Germany the sampler Anime nation No. Should be published 4. In April 2004, followed by a second single, LOVE & PEACE, in August of the same year the third, Ameagari no kyūna Sakamachi (雨上がり の 急な坂 道), which as a music theme in the film Daisuki! Itsutsu ko 6 (大好き!五つ子6) was used.

Before release of their debut album Sweet Noodle Pop in July 2005, two more singles were released: Synchro (シンクロ) in April, which in the film Koi wa go- shichi -go! Was used (恋 は 五七· ·五! ) And Hummingbird (ハミング バード, engl. For hummingbird ) in June.

The debut album was produced by the band themselves and Shinohara Hirohito. Despite successful preliminary single releases, such as the already mentioned bias song to the anime series Naruto, the album sold relatively slow. It rose to number 85 in the Japanese album charts and has already disappeared two weeks after the start of sales of selfsame again. Nevertheless, it was sold since then more than 500,000 times, making the first pressing is sold out. Currently pressings of the album are still available.

In 2007, the group is back with their single Kimi monogatari (キミモノガタリ), which can be heard in early December of the year as the credits for the series Naruto Shippuden before publication.
