LittleBigPlanet

LittleBigPlanet, often abbreviated LBP, is a Jump 'n' Run video game with puzzle elements for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita. It was developed by UK-based Media Molecule and published by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2008 worldwide. On January 21, 2011 appeared with LittleBigPlanet 2 is a sequel and on September 21, 2012 LittleBigPlanet Vita has been released.

Gameplay

In the game, the player small avatars, so-called " Sackboy " or "Sack Girls ," which he can decorate by numerous costume variants controls. The game includes more than 50 levels, which are divided into several puzzles episodes. Skill and ingenuity are hereby asked to move to the end of the obstacles. The special charm compared with conventional Jump ' n' Runs is the targeted utilization of physical processes that are realistically simulated by the physics engine of the game.

This online area offers a very large and constantly growing number of levels that can be mastered online with up to four other players. The release of the game shifted to some time because Sony wanted to prevent problems with the soundtrack. The title Tapha Niang, who was released on the album Boulevard de l' Independance Toumani Diabate by the artist, was part of the game and made ​​several controversial Koranic quotations, such as " All that is on earth will perish ." To avoid negative reactions, Sony decided for the removal of the piece and a new edition of the game. The game could be (as of February 22, 2014 ) sold worldwide a total of 5.4 million copies.

The German voice-over is spoken by Gordon Piedesack.

On 10 May 2010 the sequel LittleBigPlanet 2 has been officially announced. This was published on 21 January 2011.
