Live Album of Death (English for " live album of death" ) is the first album by Farin Urlaub Racing Team ( WADE ), the live band of Farin Urlaub, who is best known as the singer and guitarist of the band Die Ärzte. After the two studio albums Holidays at last! At the end of the sun and it is the third album by Farin Urlaub.
Background
The title of Death live album was released by a fan during WADE Tour Sunflowers of Death invented on the basis of their title and from there to the The doctors fansite www.dieaerzte.at. Holidays and his management were thrilled by the title and asked for permission to use. Fan agreed, and is mentioned in the booklet in return.
The album was released on February 3, 2006 as a CD and vinyl version; latter consists of six 7 " plates, each of the twelve pages is named after one of FORD - members.
Recorded and mixed were the performances in Leipzig (House Auensee, May 30 ), Dresden ( Alter Schlachthof, June 1 ), Berlin ( Berlin Arena, June 2 ) and Hamburg ( Große Freiheit, 20 and 21 June ) and Bremen ( Pier 2, June 22 ).
Singles
Already on 13 January 2006 was released the single " Ten ". The song is played live and was therefore previously published on any official Farina holiday recordings. A video for the song was to be seen already from 14 December 2005 to the music television channels. It is a compilation of the show on 30 May 2005 in Leipzig "House Auensee " and a rotary on 10 August 2005 in Berlin " Fritz Club" with Farina holiday fans.
