Livia Turco

Livia Turco ( born February 13, 1955 in Cuneo) is an Italian politician. She is a member of the national leadership of the Left ( Partito Democratico since 2007 ) and was from May 2006 to May 2008 Italian Health Minister in the second cabinet Prodi. Before that, she already served as Minister without portfolio in the period 1996-2001 in the governments of Romano Prodi, Massimo D' Alema and Giuliano Amato.
