Liza Weil

Liza Rebecca Weil ( born June 5, 1977 in New Jersey ) is an American actress.

Biography

Since her parents both had its own theater group and took their daughter Liza on their tours of Europe, this came very early into contact with her future career. As of 1989, the parents began to let their daughter take part in various auditions. In this way, Liza Weil received first roles in regional theater productions.

Later she studied in film at Columbia University. In 1998 she got her first starring role in the drama Whatever. Supporting roles in several other films followed. In 1999, she then moved to Los Angeles and had guest roles in some well-known series (such as ER ).

She became known for her role as Paris Geller in the series Gilmore Girls, which she played from 2001. The role of Paris Geller was written especially for her, after Alexis Bledel had been occupied for the role of Rory Gilmore, to which also Weil had advertised.

Since November 2006 she is married to the American actor Paul Adelstein. In April 2010 came their first child together - a daughter - to the world.
