Loch Lomond (Band)

Loch Lomond is an American folk music band from Portland, Oregon. Originally Loch Lomond was founded in 2003 as a solo project of musician Ritchie Young. With the help of producer Rob Oberdorder Young took on the first When We Were Mountains, which was released under the label In Music We Trust Records. In the first years of Loch Lomond toured mainly through Oregon and the Pacific Northwest of the United States. The cast varied in this time between solo performances by Young and the interaction with various guest musicians. During this period, numerous studio recordings, from which a best-of was released on the album Lament for Children in the spring of 2006. The end of 2006 Loch Lomond finally constituted in the cast today. 2007 was the album "Paper the Walls ". 2008 Loch Lomond was with the American folk rock band The Decemberists. 2009, published the albums Trumpets For Paper Children and Night Bats.

Trivia

Larger became famous for the song Wax and Wire by the use of the published in 2010 Video Clip " Way Back Home " the Scottish Bike Trial professionals Danny MacAskill, who was called up on Youtube over 20 million times.
