Loes Geurts

Loes Geurts (born 12 January 1986 Wûnseradiel ) is a Dutch football player. The goalkeeper is at AZ Alkmaar under contract and plays for the Dutch national team.

Geurts began her career at VV Res and played as a teenager for a short time at SC Heerenveen. Between 2004 and 2005 she played in the U.S. for the team of Western Illinois University. Then Geurts joined the German Bundesliga FFC Heike Rheine. After relegation in 2007, she returned to the Netherlands and played for AZ Alkmaar. With AZ she won in 2008 and 2009, the Dutch championship.

Their first international match in the national team, she completed on October 29, 2006 against Australia. Overall, they played 35 times for the Dutch selection.
