Lohjanjärvi

The Lohjanjärvi (Swedish Lojo sjö ) is a lake in the Finnish landscape Uusimaa.

The 88.22 km ² big lake located in the municipalities of Lohja and Raseborg. It lies at an altitude of 31.6 m and has a maximum water depth of 54.88 m. The northerly Hiidenvesi is drained by the Väänteenjoki to Lohjanjärvi. The Mustionjoki turn forms the outflow of Lohjanjärvi the Gulf of Finland. The lake is part of the river system of the Karjaanjoki.

Largest island in the lake is Lohjansaari (1995 ha). Other islands are Jalassaari (360 ha), Pensaari (114 ha), Huhtasaari (76 ha) and Seppälänsaari (68 ha).
