Lorenzo Davids ( born September 4, 1986 in Paramaribo, Suriname ) is a Surinamese - Dutch footballer. The defender and defensive midfielder currently plays for Randers FC.

Career

David came to the youth stations Voorland, Waterwijk, FC Omniworld and FC Utrecht in the training of young scientists from Feyenoord, where he trained under Mario Been. For Feyenoord he made ​​his professional debut on November 8, 2006 at the cup match against RKC Waalwijk in which he came off the bench. However, in the league, he came to no use. Mario Been, now manager of NEC, brought him into the winter break 2006/ 07 to Nijmegen, where David since his second season was a regular player. In the 2009/10 season he was voted NEC Player of the Year.

For the 2011/12 season he moved free transfer to the German first division club FC Augsburg and received a two- year contract. After initial difficulties, he advanced in the first round 2011/12 first-team regular in the second half he came, however, only four bets. For the 2012/13 season David was singled out by new coach Mark Weinzierl. Since then he has trained with the second team (U -23). On August 31, 2012, his contract was terminated by mutual agreement.
