Lorna Vevers

Lorna Vevers ( born January 31, 1981 in Dumfries ) is a Scottish curler. She currently plays on the position of the lead in the Scottish curling team.

In 2007 she won the bronze medal at the Curling World Championships in Aomori. In the same year she won the silver medal at the Curling Championship in Fussen.

In February 2010, Vevers took part in the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver (Canada) as a member of the British team. The team finished in seventh place.

Vevers won on 28 March 2010 with the Scottish team to Eve Muirhead Skip the silver medal at the Curling World Championships. In the Canadian Swift Current, the team lost in the final against Team Germany by Andrea Schoepp Skip to 6:8 after extra end stones.
