Lost and Found (Band)

Band History

The group was founded in 1986 by two members of the Michael D. Bridges (guitar) and George R. Baum (piano, recorder, percussion and slinky ) in Niagara Falls, New York. It does not explicitly as a Christian band in appearance, although it is clearly in accordance with their lyrics and their performances such. The style of their music they call themselves with the portmanteau Speed ​​Wood, which alludes to the concept of Hard Rock. Bridges and tree are also the owners of their own record company, the Limb Records.

With the title Lions, they won the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. The first big tour they took across the country by bicycle and without support vehicles. They drove over 8,000 miles and appeared on more than 300 stations such as schools, camps and churches. They are especially within the Protestant church but also in other Christian youth organizations known. They often play at Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. All their songs are registered with CCLI.

Musical arrangement

The band describes itself as a blend of John Denver and the Ramones. This is a relatively desolate intersection, and Lost and Found are really the only band this mixture.
