Lothar Dräger

Lothar Dräger ( born January 19, 1927 in Schwennenz ) is a German comic book writer.

Lothar Dräger attended the grammar school and was subsequently Flakhelfer in Szczecin, where he was but was released after a long illness as a defense unfit even before the war ended. He studied after the Second World War, first singing at the Klindworth - Scharwenka Conservatory in Berlin, then at the Academy of Music and was an opera singer. After engagements in Nordhausen and Potsdam in 1957, he joined the profession and was from issue number 9 with Hannes nurture and later also with Wolfgang Altenburg copywriter and creative director in the comic magazine mosaic. Dräger researched the historical background of the stories, wrote the lyrics and verses created synopses for Digedags, the main characters of the mosaic. In 1958 and 1959 he wrote the lyrics for the mosaic Supplement Klaus Hein and tell of the pioneer life.

After 1975 came the break between the publisher and " Digedag - father " Hannes nurture, was Lothar Dräger with Lona Rietschel the spiritual father of Abrafaxe that beerbten the Digedags. Here he was artistic director, made elevations and even drew some pages themselves also for 1980 in the Palace of the Republic in East Berlin listed Abrafaxe revue he wrote the script. On January 1, 1990, he went into retirement. In 2002, his novel Ritter Runkel and his time in which he pursued the history of the Knights Runkel, which was published in the years 1964 to 1969 Mosaic and he had also texted appeared.
