The Lotto Sport Italia SpA is an Italian sportswear manufacturer based in Trevignano in the province of Treviso. Brands of the company are: Lotto, Lotto Leggenda, Lotto Works, Etonic International and Le DD

History

The company was founded in June 1973 by the family Caberlotto, which included the Italian soccer team Treviso FBC. Tennis shoes were the first, later followed by models for basketball, volleyball, athletics and football. Some time later, the production of sports clothing was added. In the first ten years, Lotto focused on the Italian market and become popular, particularly in the sport of tennis.

Lotto closed over time, especially in tennis and football, with internationally famous players and teams supplier contracts. Internationally, the brand grew rapidly on and ten years later Lotto was already present in more than 60 countries.

In June 1999, a group of local business people who've been very active in the sport in that society. It was led by Andrea Tomat, who took over the role of president and CEO of the new company, which from then on the name of Lotto Sport Italia SpA wore.

In November 2006, the Company acquired Etonic lottery, one of the leading American manufacturers of running, golf, bowling and walking shoes, and brought the number of brands in order to five. Side by side with the lottery are:

  • Lotto Leggenda, a collection of lifestyle products for demanding target groups and selected distribution partners
  • Lotto Works, a line of safety clothing, footwear and accessories
  • Le DD, a brand with a strong design-oriented shoe offer
  • Etonic

Distribution

The lottery products are now sold in 80 countries through independent sports stores, specialty shops and department stores with large sports departments. This is a clearly structured retail strategy in Italy and abroad, a particular attention by brand specialty stores ( flagship stores, street stores, factory outlets ) and business Cornern and shop- in-shops.
