Lou Rhodes

Louise Rhodes, shortly Lou, also Louise Robinson ( born 1 November 1964 in Leeds ) is an English singer and songwriter.

It became known as a member of the band Lamb, where she was responsible for vocals, lyrics and songwriting. In addition, she worked as a guest vocalist, including 808 State, radio interference, Plump DJs, A Guy Called Gerald and The Cinematic Orchestra. After years of creative tensions with her bandmates Andy Barlow, who coined the music of Lamb instrumental, she founded her own record label in 2005 and released the infinite bloom solo album Beloved one. The album breaks with the characteristic of Lamb style that was influenced by trip hop and drum and bass, and moves toward folk, influenced by acoustic sounds. In October 2007, the second solo album Bloom was released in March 2010, the third album One good thing.

She lives with her two children on a farm in Surrey.
