Louannec

Louannec ( Louaneg Breton ) is a commune with 3019 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Côtes- d'Armor in the Brittany region. It belongs administratively to the district Lannion and Perros-Guirec to Canton.

Geography

The municipality is situated on the Atlantic coast, which is referred to in this section Côte de Granit Rose, about eight kilometers northeast of Lannion. The municipality borders the bay of Perros ( frz: Anse de Perros ), which is strongly influenced by the tides and is often dry at low water.
