Louis Crayton

Louis Crayton ( born October 26, 1977 in Monrovia, Liberia ) is a Liberian former football player and goalkeeper. He also possesses the nationality of Switzerland.

Clubs

His first stop was the Liberian Soccer Team St. Joseph Warriors, before he moved to FC Luzern in 1997. He then moved a year later to Grasshopper Club Zurich. After two years there, he spent the next years at various club in Switzerland.

In 2008 he moved from FC Basel in the Major League Soccer for DC United. Due to an injury and his relatively high salary, his contract was canceled after the 2009 season. For the 2010 season, he moved to Minnesota Stars FC in the USSF D2 Pro League.

He's since June 27, 2012 together with Thomas Hauser ( former player ) at the BSC Old Boys Basel worked as a youth coach of the U-14 team.

National

His first cap for Liberia, he completed against Tunisia in a qualifying match for the African Cup of Nations 2000. A long time he was captain of the team before he announced his retirement from international football in 2008.
