Louis Dicaire

Louis Dicaire ( born August 29, 1946 in Montreal, Canada), Auxiliary Bishop of Saint -Jean- Longueuil.

Life

Louis Dicaire received on 20 January 1974, the sacrament of Holy Orders and was incardinated in the clergy of the Archdiocese of Montréal.

On 18 February 1999, Pope John Paul II appointed titular bishop of Thizica and appointed him as Auxiliary Bishop of Montréal. The Archbishop of Montreal, Cardinal Jean- Claude Turcotte, gave him on 25 March of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops in Montréal, André Rivest and Jew Saint -Antoine. On June 19, 2004 he was appointed by Pope John Paul II appointed auxiliary bishop in Saint -Jean- Longueuil.

He is since 2007 the Grand Prior of the Lieutenancy of Canada -Montreal of the Equestrian Order of the Holy grave in Jerusalem.
