Louise Burgaard

Louise Catherine Burgaard Madsen (born 17 October 1992 in Esbjerg ) is a Danish handball player.

Louise Burgaard began five years playing handball at Vinding SF. In 2006 she moved to Fredericia HK 90 In 2010, the backcourt player signed a contract with Kolding, with whom she took part in the 2010/11 season at the EHF Cup. In 2011, she joined Team Tvis Holstebro. With TTH 2013 she won the EHF Cup. Since the 2013/14 season she played in Viborg HK.

Burgaard played so far 50 caps for the Danish national team, in which they could achieve 126 hits. With Denmark they finished 4th in the World Cup 2011. During summer 2012, she participated in the Olympic Games in London in part. My biggest success was winning the bronze medal at the World Championships in 2013, when they scored a total of 25 goals in nine games.
