Love Me Forever is an American film drama from 1935 by Victor Schertzinger, based on the story On Wings of Song of the director.

Action

Although in financial straits rejects the singer Margaret Howard from the marriage proposal of her admirer Phillip Cameron. The family seat of the Howards to be foreclosed. At the auction of music lovers Steve Corelli is present to listen to Margaret's singing and offers her a job as a singer in one of his nightclubs. Steve wants Margaret gives his club a little opera flair, but his clientele takes the performance to negative.

Steve works the idea into a theater dinner at the title La Marguerita. Margaret's performance of the opera Rigoletto is a complete success. In celebration of the evening Steve Margeret invites to himself where he has set up some rooms for them. But Margaret rejects the invitation.

The next morning Phil waits in front of Margaret's dressing on it. To spend the day with him, she stays away the samples. Steve is concerned that he might lose to Phil Margaret again. So he tells her that the Metropolitan Opera wanted to engage them so that they could not with Phil to Boston. Steve pays a lot of money, so that Margaret can work with the best teachers of the Met. He manages that a board member of the Met, Maurizio, one witnessed by Margaret ideas. However, Steve wants Margaret informed by success, she finds in Phil's arms. Steve entertains thoughts of murder against Phil, but ultimately results in the alcohol and the game.
