Lübars

Luebars is a district of Berlin district Reinickendorf. In it you will find next to a lot of nature still preserved village structure with a baroque village church from the late 18th century. Luebars is located at Tegeler Fliess, which is a glacial trough and flows into Lake Tegel.

History

Luebars was founded during the German Ostsiedlung as Angersdorf in 1230. It was from Antiquo ( for ages ) the Benedictine monastery of Spandau, which was founded in 1239.
