Luca Beltrami

Luca Beltrami ( born November 13, 1854 in Milan, † August 8, 1933 in Rome ) was an Italian architect and art historian.

He was one of the first architects who specialized in the restoration of historic buildings. Pioneering was his approach, the first to undergo to be restored buildings of historical and architectural history investigation and thereby also its "context" into account.

Beltrami was buried in the Cimitero monumental Milan.
