Lucas Hartong

Lucas Hartong ( born May 24, 1963 in Dordrecht ) is a Dutch politician of the Partij voor de Vrijheid.

Life

Hartong has worked as a freelance columnist and writer for several Dutch magazines and newspapers. He is a member of Partij voor de Vrijheid (PVV ). Since July 2009 Hartong has worked for the PVV as a deputy in the European Parliament. Since 2010 Hartong is a board member of the Dutch automobile club ANWB.

Activities as an MEP

Hartong belongs in the EU Parliament to the group attached Members. He is a member of the Budget Committee and the Delegation for relations with the United States. As a deputy, he is in the Budgetary Control and the Delegation for relations with the People's Republic of China
