The Lucas Oil 200 is a swept since 2000 car race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, which takes place at Dover International Speedway in Dover, Delaware. The race covers a distance of 200 miles ( 321.87 kilometers ), which corresponds to 200 rounds. The race distance has not changed since the inaugural tournament. From the first held in the year 2000 to 2005 MBNA sponsored this race, changed in time but quite often the race name. Since 2006, the American Automobile Association, AAA short, the main sponsor of the race.
Twice in history made their first driver's Camping World Truck Series victory in this race. The first person to have managed this was Chad Chaffin, who led the race of 2004, 58 rounds and at the end of Rick Crawford and Hank Parker Jr. referred to the courts. In 2008, it also managed the former Formula 1 driver Scott Speed , in this race to celebrate his first victory and in only his sixth race in the series.
