Lucerne Symphony Orchestra

The Lucerne Symphony Orchestra (LSO ) was founded in 1806. In its 200-year history it has become an essential factor for Lucerne's reputation as a city of music. The LSO understands the clearances between tradition and innovation, creative and compelling to use: it is devoted to the classical-romantic repertoire, and also adopt a rarities.

The LSO 's Residence Orchestra at the Culture and Convention Centre Lucerne and offers various symphonic subscription series and cycles to the music of individual composers. As a partner of the Lucerne Theatre Orchestra it accompanies his music theater productions.
