Luciano Petech

Luciano Petech ( born June 8, 1914 in Trieste, † September 29, 2010 at Lake Como ) was an Italian historian and Tibetologist. He was a pupil of Giuseppe Tucci and 1955-1984 Professor of the History of East Asia at the University of Rome.
