Åucja Prus
Łucja Prus ( born May 25, 1942 in Białystok, † 3 July 2002, Warsaw) was a Polish singer.
Biography
Łucja Prus was mainly in the 50s, 60s and 70s popular singer in Poland. She was also known for her work for animated films and feature films. Became famous, among others their interpretation of the poem Nic dwa razy ( " Nothing comes twice ") of the Polish Nobel laureate Wislawa Szymborska later. Other big hits were, inter alia, Walc chopinowski ( "Chopin Waltz " ), dookoła się noc Stala ( "Around the Night " ), Tango z Różą w zębach ( " tango with a rose between his teeth ").
