Lucky Air is a Chinese regional airline based in Kunming in the People's Republic of China.

History

The airline was founded as Shilin Airlines in July 2004. Shortly after the foundation invested HNA Group and its subsidiaries in the airline and called it even before start of flight operations on 26 February 2006 in Lucky Air has to offer. Lucky Air is considered as a subsidiary of HNA Group, as this controls the majority stake in Lucky Air.

Fleet

As of July 2013, the fleet of Lucky Air consists of 26 aircraft:

  • 7 Airbus A319 -100 ( operated by Beijing Capital Airlines)
  • 3 Airbus A320 -200
  • 8 Boeing 737-700 (6 equipped with winglets, which 1 is decommissioned)
  • 8 Boeing 737-800 ( winglets 4, 5 operated by Hainan Airlines)
