Lucy Robinson (actress)

Lucy Robinson is a British theater and film actress.

Life

Lucy Robinson came from 1991 in numerous British television productions as an actress for use. From 1994 to 1995, she appeared in 24 episodes of the TV series Revelations. In the BBC miniseries Pride and Prejudice ( Pride and Prejudice ), a film adaptation of the novel by Jane Austen, she played in 1995 the role of Mrs. Hurst alongside Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth. With Emma followed in 1996 by another Austen adaptation for television, in Robinson next to Kate Beckinsale appeared as Mrs. Elton. In the comedy film Bridget Jones - The Edge of Reason ( Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, 2004), refers the book by Helen Fielding on Pride and Prejudice, Robinson received a small supporting role opposite Renée Zellweger and Colin Firth. In most cases it is, however, seen in television series, as in Doctor, Doctor Who, EastEnders and The IT Crowd. With Anna Chancellor, who had played in Pride and Prejudice, Caroline Bingley her sister, she was from 2006 to 2007 in eleven episodes of the satirical comedy series Suburban Shootout - Working Girl ( Suburban Shootout ) to see. 2009 Robinson stepped on Blithe Spirit ( Blithe Spirit ) at the Nottingham Playhouse in Noël Coward's stage play. Previously, she had already been in Present Laughter, also a piece of Coward, in London's West End on stage.

Lucy Robinson's father was the British show host Robert Robinson ( 1927-2011 ). Since 1999 she has been married to actor Nicholas Murchie. From this connection was 2001, a son out. Together they live in London.
