Lucy Scott

Lucy Scott (born 1966 ) is a British theater and film actress.

Life

Lucy Scott was in 1993 for the TV movie Micky Love for the first time as a performer in front of the camera. In the BBC miniseries Pride and Prejudice ( Pride and Prejudice ), an adaptation of the eponymous novel by Jane Austen, she played the role of Charlotte Lucas in 1995 with Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth. It was followed by other appearances in television productions, including the television series Inspector Lynley ( The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, 2002) and Spooks - In sight of MI5 ( Spooks, 2006). In addition, it was several times on the stage, so in 1999 the Austen stage adaptation of Emma at London's Tricycle Theatre, also in 1999 in Things We Do for Love at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry and in 2004 in The Dice House at the Arts Theatre in London. Scott also works as a spokeswoman of audiobooks, including Charlotte Brontë's Jane Eyre or Princess Margaret: A Life Unravelled by Tim Heald.

With her husband, the actor Alistair Petrie, she has three sons, Gus and the twins Cal and Brodie (* 2003). In her spare time she participates regularly in swimming events in part, such as the Surrey County Masters Championships in 2011. In 2007, she swam with her husband already by the English Channel.
