Ludwig Fischer (bass)

Johann Ignaz Ludwig Fischer ( born August 18, 1745 in Mainz, † July 10, 1825 in Berlin) was a German opera singer. He was one of the most famous bass of his time.

Biography

Fischer was the first singer in the electoral chapel, and came in 1767 to the Court Theatre Mannheim, where he remained for a long time.
