Luigi Amaducci

Luigi Amaducci ( born March 4, 1924 in Russi, Ravenna, Italy; † 3, 2010 in Cesena, Forlì - Cesena) was Archbishop of Ravenna - Cervia.

Life

Amaducci received on 5 April 1947, the ordination. Pope Paul VI. appointed him in 1977 bishop of Cesena and the bishopric Sarsina. He received his episcopal consecration on 18 June 1977, the Bishop of Forli, Giovanni Proni; Co-consecrators were retired bishop of Forli, Paolo Babini, and his predecessor Augusto Gianfranceschi. During his tenure, the two dioceses were united in 1986, so he was appointed on 30 September 1986 to the bishop of the Diocese of Cesena - Sarsina.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 27 October 1990 Archbishop of Ravenna - Cervia. Having reached the age limit for the episcopate He retired on March 9, 2000.

He was buried in the family vault in Traversara Bagnacavallo (Ravenna ).
