Luis Carlos Perea

Luis Carlos Perea ( born December 29, 1963 in Turbo ) is a former Colombian national football team.

In the years 1987 to 1994, the defender played a total of 78 caps for Colombia, scoring two goals. At the World Championships in Italy in 1990 and 1994 in the USA Perea was in the squad of his country and came during the two tournaments in six games for use, 1990, he reached the second round with his team, in 1994, he retired in the first round out.

When he reached the Copa America with the Colombian team in 1987, the semi-final, which was lost to Chile. In the match for third place with the Colombians won Perea against Argentina. Six years later, Colombia met at the Copa America 1993 in the semifinals to Argentina. After Argentina won on penalties, Colombia played for third place and won this game against Ecuador. Most of his professional career spent Perea at Colombian club Independiente Medellín, where he began in 1983 and 1998 ended. In between, he also played for Atlético Nacional (1988-1990), Atlético Junior ( 1994), Necaxa (1994 ), Toros Neza (1994 /1995) and Deportes Tolima (1996).
