Luis Gabriel Rey
Luis Gabriel Rey ( born February 20, 1980 in Bucaramanga ) is a Colombian football player at the position of the striker.
Life
Rey began his professional career with his hometown club Atlético Bucaramanga, but soon moved to Mexico, where he first stood in diverse and usually short-lived associations of the second Mexican soccer league contract. He started in the 2000 /01 season with the Lobos de la BPRD, but in the coming season not played second-rate, so that Rey came into use in the Potros Zitácuaro; a team that was only available in the 2001/ 02 season. Before the season 2002/ 03 he was transferred to the Marte successor club CF Acapulco before he moved in early 2003 to CF Atlante and first came in the first division for use.
He was División yet within its first game year in the Mexican Primera in the 2003/04 season with 15 goals scorer in the Apertura 2003. During that year he made the leap into the Colombian national team, for which he was employed until 2007 a total of 16 times and four goals scored.
The longest leg of his professional career was Monarcas Morelia, where he first stood by the beginning of 2005 to mid-2007 for a period of two and a half years under the contract and to which he returned in the summer of 2009. Currently still under contract with the Monarcas, Rey is on loan at Premier League rivals Jaguares de Chiapas since the summer of 2011.
His biggest success at club level, he recognized in the 2007/ 08 season, when he won with CF Pachuca the CONCACAF Champions ' Cup 2008. His contribution to this success was immense, because in the final two games against the Costa Rican representative Saprissa (1:1 and 2:1 ), he managed a hit each.
