Luis Mena Arroyo

Luis Mena Arroyo (* April 27, 1920 in Churintzio, Michoacán, Mexico, † March 3, 2009 in Zamora) was archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church and Auxiliary Bishop of Mexico City.

Life

Luis Mena Arroyo received on April 8, 1944 was ordained a priest by Luigi Traglia. 1961 he was appointed by Pope John XXIII. Titular Bishop of Danaba and appointed him auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Mexico until 1964 He received his episcopal consecration on September 21, 1961 Antonio Guízar y Valencia, Archbishop of Chihuahua.; Were co-consecrators Luis Barragán Guízar y, bishop of Saltillo, and Manuel Talamas Camandari, Bishop of Ciudad Juárez.
