Łukasz Michalski

Łukasz Michalski ( born August 2, 1988 in Bydgoszcz ) is a Polish pole vaulter.

Michalski was at the Youth Athletics 2005 World Championships in Marrakech and fourth at the Track World Junior Championships in 2006 in Beijing eighth. His first international medal he won third place at the European Athletics Junior Championships 2007 in Hengelo.

In the adult area Michalski went international for the first time with his sixth place finish at the European Indoor Athletics Championships 2009 in Turin in appearance. In the same year, he finished at the Athletics Team Championships in Leiria third place, was at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin, however, do not qualify for the final. At the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Doha in 2010, he was ninth at the European Athletics Championships in Barcelona seventh.

2011 won Michalski at the Summer Universiade in Shenzhen. At the World Athletics Championships in Daegu, he missed a medal in fourth just barely. With a personal best of 5.85m he jumped the same height as the bronze medalist Renaud Lavillenie from France, however, had fewer failed attempts.
