Łukasz Tumicz

Łukasz Tumicz ( born March 1, 1985 in Lidzbark Warmiński, Poland) is a Polish football player at the position of a striker. He currently plays for Jagiellonia Białystok in the top Polish league, the Ekstraklasa.

Career

Playing career

Tumicz began his career as a football player in 1999 in his home country at Reduta Bisztynek, where he was employed until 2000. This was followed by a change to the junior Stomil Olsztyn, for which he ran from 2000 to 2002 to the square. After exposure to Stomil Olsztyn he came to the United States, where he came into the football team of the Winchendon School in Winchendon, Massachusetts in 34 games for a total of 57 hits. After the two years in Winchendon, he transferred to the University of Rhode Iceland, where he studied kinesiology. In the Rhode Iceland Rams, so the name of the football team at the University, he stood from 2004 to 2007 in the squad. In his time with the Rams, he came in 74 games on a balance of 31 goals. Tumicz was to Columbus Crew traded 34th pick in the MLS Supplemental Draft in 2008, but where it is not included in the team.

In December 2007 he returned to Poland, where he was taken by the, in the top division of Poland, Ekstraklasa, gambling Jagiellonia Białystok under contract. His debut in the top division he gave March 8, 2008 in an away match against Gornik Zabrze, which ended in a 3-0 defeat when Tumicz came on in the 74th minute for the game Remigiusz Sobociński. For his first goal, he came on 12 April 2008 in the 2-1 defeat against Wisla Krakow when he, the goal came in the 76th minute, just a minute after coming through a template of Remigiusz Sobociński. In March 2009, he was loaned until the end of the season to Supraślanka Supraśl, however, where he played only one game. In the 2009/10 season Tumicz won with Jagiellonia Białystok despite a temporary dislocation in the team of Młoda Ekstraklasa (17 games, 7 goals) the Polish Cup. In the first round of 2010/11 he was only loaned to OKS 1945 Olsztyn, before he was sold during the winter break to Gornik Polkowice. But after half a year he moved again to its present club Olimpia Grudziądz.
