Lulu Island

Lulu Iceland is an island in the southwest of the Lower Mainland's, in the Province of British Columbia. It is located south of Vancouver in the estuary of the Fraser River. It is the largest island in the river delta. On the western part of the island is the town of Richmond, it covers most of the island. The easternmost part of the island, with the settlement Queensborough, part of the City of New Westminster. In the north- west Iceland Sea lies to the Vancouver International Airport.

After the interpretation of applicable today most likely the island was named after a famous chorus girl named "Lulu", which had a relationship with the mayor of Vancouver and acquired a property here.
