Lulzim Basha

Xhelal Lulzim Basha ( [ lulzim baʃa ]; born June 12, 1974 in Tirana) is an Albanian politician and since 2013 Chairman of the Democratic Party of Albania (PD). Since 2012 he also held the mayor of Tirana.

Origin and background

Lulzim Basha was born the son of a mechanic Xhelal and the teacher Remzije Basha. He attended primary school Skënder CACI in the northeast of Tirana and entered it on to high school Sami Frashëri. Beginnings in the Democratic Party
