Lundin Links

Lundin Links is a small Scottish village on the north side of the Firth of Forth, in the county of Fife. The most important landmark, the menhirs of Lundin Links are to the west of Lundin on the grounds of the local Ladies Golf Club.

Two of the stones are close together, the third a little distant. They are among the most impressive in Scotland. The single stone is about 5.5 m high. The stones of the pair are 4.1 and 4.6 m high. Evidence of a fourth stone exist. The costs associated with its construction about 5000 years prior technical skills of the local Neolithic population must have been highly developed. Similarly respectable standing stones at Machrie Moor.
