Lutherrose

The Luther rose is a symbol of the Lutheran churches. She was the seal that Martin Luther used from 1530 for his correspondence. The model for this seal is found in the Augustinian church of the Augustinian monastery at Erfurt, where Martin Luther lived 1505-1512 as an Augustinian monk lions and parrots window.
