Geography

Unterbreizbach is in the lower Ulstertal. In the town empties as a left tributary of the eponymous Unterbreizbach, by the inhabitants colloquially as " the brook " means. History

For the first time the church was mentioned in 1390 as well to low - Breyzbach documented. Mining

The economy of the municipality is characterized by the potash industry. In the nucleus Unterbreizbach the chemical factory of the K S AG is located.
