Luton Airport Parkway railway station

The Luton Airport Parkway railway station is on the Thameslink also used by Midland Mainline on the route from London St Pancras to Leeds. The station is managed by First Capital Connect and is served by the Thameslink trains. The station was opened in 1999 and is located south- east of Luton and west of the airport London Luton. There is a chargeable shuttle bus service between the train station and airport of the drives during the day and every ten minutes at night is matched to the train schedule.

From the station you can travel north to Bedford, Wellingborough, Kettering, Leicester, Loughborough, Derby and Nottingham. Passengers can also travel to the south St Albans, London, Wimbledon, Sutton, Gatwick and Brighton.

In November 2008, the platforms of this station were extended as the first of the Thameslink route to offer twelve car trains as part of the Thameslink program space.
