Lutter (Aa)

The Lutter, Lutter also Bielefeld, named after the State Agency for Nature, Environment and Consumer Protection of NRW Lutterbach, is a 12.1 km long river in Bielefeld in North Rhine -Westphalia, Germany. The Lutter is the right source river of the Westphalian Aa.

Geography

The creek originates in the Bielefeld area source in close proximity to Gütersloher Lutter. The Lutter ( Lutter Bach) takes at 3.1 km from the right wind Woe on that until there already traveled a longer flow path, as Lutter ( Lutter Bach) has a total length of. History

The Bielefeld Lutter is not of natural origin, but was in 1452 - much to the annoyance of the monks of the monastery of Marienfeld, who feared for their water supply - from Gütersloh Lutter just behind the source ( the Lutterkolk ) excavated and partially diverted to the northeast. Name
