Lutz Schülbe

Lutz Schülbe ( born November 9, 1961) is a former German football player. He was with Dynamo Dresden East German Cup winners twice and played 16 times for the East German junior national team.

Career in football

Dynamo Dresden

Schülbe played until the summer of 1981 at the Police Sports Community Dynamo Eisleben, most recently in the second-rate DDR -Liga. For the season 1981/82 Oberliga Dynamo Dresden, second force brought him beside the Berliner FC Dynamo in the GDR Police Sports Association Dynamo, to the Elbe. The 1.72 m wide Schülbe, carpenter by trade, was used immediately in the first league game of the league season 1981/82. In the encounter Dynamo Dresden - Vorwärts Frankfurt (1:0 ), he came on in the 75th minute for Striker Torsten Gütschow. With it Schülbe delivered in the course of the season a duel for a regular place in the team, in which Schülbe prevailed in the second half season as a right winger. In his first league season, he came in the 26 -point games on 20 missions, scoring four goals. As Right Wing Schülbe stood on 1 May 1982 in the final of the East German soccer cup until he was replaced in the 75th minute with his rival Gütschow. Dresden won on penalties after a 5-4 over the BFC Dynamo. In two brief appearances in the UEFA Cup 1981/82 Schülbe gained his first international experience. Other international missions he came between April 1982 and February 1984, in 16 international matches with the East German junior national team, where he was employed as a winger, but scored only one goal.

In the following league seasons Schülbe again lost his place and played only until December 1984 for Dynamo in the league. Of the 65 league matches between the summer of 1982 and fall of 1984 Schülbe denied only 38th in the Cup final on 26 May 1984, The Dresden again won 2-1 over the BFC, he was only in the last 23 minutes on the court. A year later he was at the cup final (Dynamo Dresden - BFC Dynamo 3:2 ) no longer with us. In the summer of 1985 Schülbe left the SG Dynamo Dresden with a record of 58 league operations, in which he scored eleven goals. In the nine European games during his time in Dresden Schülbe came in seven games for use.

Hallescher FC

On July 1, 1985, Schülbe joined the Halle FC Chemistry ( HFC), who was a year earlier relegated from the top league. He played the first nine DDR - league games in a row as a right striker, but injured his ninth game day and had to stop for the rest of the season after that. Not until the 34th and final day he could participate as a substitute again. In the following season 1986/87 he was able to meet the expectations of the Saale townspeople, denied 30 of the 34 point games in the DDR -Liga and was charged with 18 championship top scorer of the league season B. He was also one of the fundamental forces during promotion back to the premier league. In the following four league seasons belonged Schülbe the mainstays of the team. In the discharged between 1987 and 1991 104 point games, he lacked only eleven matches and was with his 26 goals unerringly most valuable player of Halle. With his 13 goals in the 1990/91 season, he contributed significantly to that of HFC reached the qualification for 2nd Bundesliga and the UEFA Cup.

2 Bundesliga

When you start in professional football of the season 1991/92 Schülbe was already 29 years old. After his football playing career was Schülbe insurance broker and was elected president of the sports club BSV Halle- Ammendorf.
