Lydia Potechina
Lydia Potechina ( born September 5, 1883 in Saint Petersburg, † April 7, 1934 in Moscow) was a Russian actress.
Life
She attended in 1900 in Saint Petersburg the Imperial Theater School. Then she went on for years at Russian theaters. During the Revolutionary War she fled to Berlin in 1919.
Here they soon came to German cinema. She appeared in numerous strips, many of them comedies. Often Potechina played a mother or mother in law. She was married to the UFA - producer Max Pfeiffer ( 1881-1947 ).
