Mable Fergerson

Mable Fergerson ( born January 18, 1955 in Los Angeles ) is a former American track and field athlete, who took mainly in the 400 -meter run.

Fergerson won the 1971 Championship of the Amateur Athletic Union's 400-meter, 1973, she won over 220 and 440 yards. At the age of 17, she took part in the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. As a first leg they led the U.S. 4 x 400 - meter relay to Madeline Manning, Cheryl Toussaint and Kathy Hammond with a time of 3:25,15 minutes the silver medal behind the current world record relay the GDR ( 3:22, 95 minutes ). She also finished fifth in the 400 -meter run.
