Maciej Murawski

Maciej Murawski ( born February 20, 1974 in Zielona Góra, Poland ) is a former Polish footballer and currently manager of Zawisza Bydgoszcz.

Club career

Murawski played in Poland for Lech Poznań, among others Legia Warszawa and before it from 2002 to 2004 in Germany for Arminia Bielefeld Played. From 2004 to 2005 he was in Greece with Aris Salonika under contract. From 2005 to 2008 played for Murawski Apollon Kalamarias. For the second half of the 2008/2009 season, he returned to Poland Cracovia Kraków. Finished his playing career, however, after only one use in the Ekstraklasa.

National

He completed six games for the Polish national football team and took part in the Poland World Cup 2002.

Coaching career

After his active football career, he was first a TV pundit for the Bundesliga at Euro Sport Polska and for the Ekstraklasa including Canal Polska. From 13 June 2009 to 30 June 2010, he coached the Polish third division Lechia Zielona Góra. Since 1 July 2010, he is a trainer at Zawisza Bydgoszcz, which also play in the 3rd league.
