Macromedia HomeSite

HomeSite is a powerful, clear and easy to use HTML editor. It offers plenty of auxiliary functions (" Wizards " ) in order to solve standard tasks.

Home Site was originally developed in 1995 by Nick Bradbury and in March 1997, Allaire Corp. of the. taken. 2001 Allaire was in turn acquired by Macromedia and Macromedia in 2006 by Adobe. May 26, 2009 Adobe announced that the development and distribution of HomeSite is set; as an upgrade path Adobe Dreamweaver is recommended.

The type of a document recognizes Homesite the entry. If the type is detected again, it provides the appropriate commands. Supported formats include XHTML, JavaScript, VBScript, Perl, Active X, ColdFusion, VTML, Java, JSP, WML, ASP, CSS, PHP, SQL, DHTML, and more.

It also supports code completion and Insight tags. Using code -completion to be opening tags automatically closed again. The Insight Tags show the programmer the possible attributes of a tag, which can be selected.

For easy editing CSS files, the program TopStyle Lite is included with the package.

Is only as an English base version is available, a German language pack does exist.
