Macuá

The macua is a cocktail drink that is mainly made ​​of white rum and fruit juices produced ( the juice of guavas, oranges and lemons) in a ratio of 3:2:2:1. Named the drink is named after a native bird in Nicaragua.

History

As the inventor of macua to Dr. Edmundo Miranda, a pediatrician from Granada, a city on Lake Nicaragua.

The drink in October 2006 became famous when it was chosen in a competition sponsored by the state Rumhersteller the " national drink of Nicaragua ".
